We believe in the transformative power of education and opportunity for caregivers to learn how to provide safe, effective care. We strive to teach using current healthcare best practices. Our courses are open to anyone who wants to learn, but to become certified, a provider number through the Ohio DODD is required. Direct care staff is registered for our courses through their Agency Provider. Independent providers are required to register using their provider number. The public may register by indicating “auditing the course only”.

Online courses can be accessed on-the-go and some are offered as blended learning webinars with a separate skills check / test. These are typically for annual certification and renewal (example: Ohio DODD certifications for Medication Administration, G/J Tubes, and Injections for Insulin & Metabolic Disorders).

Training is offered online and as blended learning; Skills check / Testing by appointment only at “McKenzie Barn” located at: 14812 McKenzie Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050. Contact us to arrange for a skill check.

Consider how family members, student nurses, and direct care staff can administer medications and perform health related activities using step by step skill checklists, demonstration videos and resources from nurse educators. While each different type of caregiver has a “scope of practice”, these foundational skills are necessary to safely deliver care. Our courses, e-books, forms, and video libraries provide ongoing support at your fingertips when you need it.

Join us in our journey as we work towards being good stewards of the healing earth, one person at a time. Together, we can make a difference and create a world where all individuals, regardless of ability, can reach their full potential. Thank you for being a part of our community.

At eorthfolc, we believe in the inherent dignity and worth of every person. We envision a world where individuals with disabilities are not only valued members of society but also empowered to actively participate and contribute to their communities. Together, we can create a more inclusive and equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
